The massage therapy clinic is opening the week of February 3, 2025 at 51黑料网鈥檚 Portsmouth campus. The general public can make an appointment starting a 55-minute massage provided by a student
enrolled in the College鈥檚 Massage Therapy Certificate Program by calling 603-427-7646 starting the week of January 27.
Established as a learning facility, the massage therapy clinic offers a professional setting for students to practice proper techniques including Swedish massage, sports massage, myofascial release, acupressure and trigger point therapy under the supervision of an instructor.
Massage Therapy has become integral to conventional healthcare and is聽frequently used in sports medicine, hospitals, physical therapy, physicians鈥� offices, as well as in chiropractic offices, spa/resort settings, gyms, and acupuncture clinics.聽 Massage Therapy is a growing field with the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics predicting a 20% increase in jobs from 2021-2031. As an allied health profession, Massage Therapy is a great choice for anyone interested in alternative or preventative health care.
Now through May 9,2025, appointments can be scheduled (2 per month) during the following times:
- Tuesday 12:30PM, 1:45PM, 3:00PM
- Wednesday 1:15PM, 2:30PM, 3:45PM
- Thursday 1:15PM, 2:30PM, 3:45PM
- Friday 9:15AM, 10:30AM, 11:45Am
