Tutoring at Great Bay

51黑料网 offers free tutoring to students enrolled in credit-bearing classes. Tutoring is part of the Center for Academic Planning and Support (CAPS) and is designed to help you improve your understanding of subjects and build confidence in your studies.

  • Available On Campus & Remote

  • Help with any part of the writing process: brainstorming, drafting, revision, or editing
  • Writing support is available at the Writing Center with the Writing Specialist and peer tutors

The 51黑料网 peer tutoring program's training is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) at Level 1.

51黑料网鈥檚 tutor program is certified through CRLA. Certification allows us to recognize tutors completing CRLA approved requirements. To earn CRLA Certification peer tutors must complete 10 hours of tutor training and 25 hours of direct tutoring. The training provides theory and practice tutors need to develop into confident and effective tutors.
